​Hi, I'm Carol - a Retirement Professional, who has worked with Actuaries, corporations, and individuals for 34 years.  I have also spent another four years working in the personal Income Tax industry.  Now, as a happy and successful retiree, I am the author of this Retirement and Life Style site.  I have spent my whole career in the retirement business, which is my passion.  I now want to pass the information that I have accumulated onto you and your children in order that you can make better educated decisions and improve your life.  I believe that education should start when we are young and continue through our life time.

This site will be a work in progress and be continually updated as it will incorporate general information along with stories and experiences.  I believe that getting information should be easy and fun.

I would like to dedicate this site to my friend Ruth, who had never met me but hired me straight out of college and taught me all about Defined Benefit Pension Plans, and who over the years became one of my best friends.  Ruth, once told me that she saw me as a teacher, and I hope that this site will prove that she was right as "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela.
